Untitled No. 2 was recorded between winter 2020 and summer 2021 at my home in Lubbock, Texas. While growing up, it always felt like West Texas was in a drought, so rain and storms became a luxury rarely enjoyed and I wanted to sit with that feeling while making this album. I thankfully had a couple of opportunities to record storms from my back porch which were used for the fourth track. The dripping water from the final track was recorded during the “Great Texas Freeze” in early 2021 when most of the state was shut down due to a winter storm.

The tracks for this album are meant to form a poem:
Early morning drams of rain
A whisper of a storm
Just drips in an empty sink
